Kaipara Moana Remediation Funding

There is funding available in the Kaipara catchment through Kaipara Moana Remediation for waterway and wetland fencing and native planting.  HLM can assist landowners in the catchment to secure up to 50% funding for these projects.  Mitchel is our consultant who works in this space, he has helped many landowners secure funding and complete their projects since the inception of KMR.  He has a good understanding of farming and the challenges farmers face running their farm businesses and is here to help with the projects you want to complete.

 

Waterway Fencing & Farm Plans

There was to be a national roll out of Fresh Water Farm Plans for all farms and regulations put in place around waterway fencing.  With the change of government in 2023 these have been put on hold.  HLM was in the final stages of being certified as an approved provider of Fresh Water Farm Plans when this happened and would have been active throughout New Zealand.  The Government is working through an update to the farm plan rules, when this has been completed we will know the exact requirements for farmers and landowners and how HPL can help.
